We’re a lean, fast-moving, and product-obsessed team. Our customers love us because we deeply understand their workflow pain points and offer real leverage—not fluff. Now, we’re looking for a consultative Account Executive to help us grow sustainably by converting qualified interest into high-retention customers.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Qualify and convert inbound signups and trial users into paying customers.
- Run discovery calls with freelancers and agencies to understand their Upwork workflow, pain points, and goals.
- Tailor demos of UpWand’s features to their needs, showing exactly how we solve their biggest bottlenecks.
- Manage and improve our light-weight CRM and pipeline (we use HubSpot).
- Follow up persistently and insightfully to build trust and close deals that result in long-term retention.
- Provide product feedback from prospects to our team to improve onboarding, messaging, and features.
- Collaborate closely with the founder and product team—your insights will directly shape go-to-market strategy.

Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS, solutions consulting, or account management role.
- Experience selling software products or productivity tools to solo users, consultants, or small teams.
- Comfortable speaking with both technical and non-technical users—especially small agency owners and freelancers.
- Strong follow-up skills and CRM hygiene.
- Available for calls and async communication during Eastern Time business hours.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Upwork, Fiverr, or the freelance economy.
- Previous experience selling productivity, AI, or automation tools.
- Experience in early-stage SaaS, especially with product-led growth models.
- Comfortable using tools like Hubspot, Apollo, Loom.
